Anticipation: India trades at a 2–3x premium to global peers on ALMM/DCR-protected margins. Watch multiple compression as ~65 GW of cell capacity commissions through FY27 and the protection premium normalises.

Growthifye view · tariff estimates · 2026-09-07

Are today's auction prices sustainable?

Indian storage and hybrid tariffs remain wide-ranging: solar-plus-BESS deals span ₹2.45-5.5/kWh, while standalone BESS capacity charges cluster near ₹2-2.1 lakh/MW/month. With two-thirds of tracked bids flagged challenging, aggressive pricing is squeezing margins. Growthifye's view: sustainable bids need realistic degradation and cycling assumptions. Buyers should benchmark against NTPC/SECI references, stress-test IRRs before locking 25-year PPAs, and favour developers with disciplined cost models over lowest headline tariffs.

Why Growthifye

One partner,
source to close.

We sit at the intersection of engineering and capital — turning ambitious clean-energy projects into built, bankable, operating assets.

01

Engineering-led advisory

Every recommendation is grounded in first-principles engineering. We don't just model spreadsheets — we design the asset, size the storage and stress-test the grid connection before a rupee is committed.

02

From electrons to evacuation

We cover the full value chain: generation and storage, EPC delivery, and the transmission networks that move power to where it's needed. One accountable partner, end to end.

03

Capital that closes

Bankable projects need bankable structures. Our green financing and debt syndication desk turns robust engineering into financial close with the right lenders and the right terms.
